A PURSE was stolen in a burglary in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the burglary happened on November 17 at a property in Danesmead Close, Fulford. A male allegedly came in through the front door and stole a purse, the force added.
It has confirmed that a 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident and he has been referred to the Youth Offending Team for a decision.
Residents are urged to be mindful of whether their doors and windows are secure when they are both in and out. Anyone with CCTV or information that could be of help with this incident should phone 101, quoting NYP-17112018-0537.
