A MAN serving a suspended prison sentence for affray now has points on his licence.
Joseph John Patrick Ward, 23, of Pottery Lane, pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
He committed the offence when he drove himself and three other people away from a New Earswick house where they had tried to break the door down with baseball bats.
Ward was given six penalty points on his licence at York Crown Court.
He and the other three had previously admitted affray and been given suspended prison sentences for their part in the incident at the same court.
