Pedestrians as bad as thoughtless riders
The lane discipline in York is atrocious. Stop-starting, veering left or right, changing direction for no apparent reason, texting and using mobile phones while on the move, on and off footpaths without looking right or left, no consideration for others, congregating in groups near shop doorways and near escalator and other pinch points...the pedestrians in York are a danger to themselves and others.
Entering or exiting shops they neither look left or right, they push prams or pushchairs with little or no consideration for others. Yes, the pedestrians in York are nearly as bad as the inconsiderate cyclists who roam the pedestrian zones.
