A YORK school will be closed on Friday, due to a gas leak.
Forest of Galtres Anglican Methodist Primary School announced on social media on Thursday afternoon that the school would be closed throughout Friday, November 23, to allow the gas leak to be fixed.
The school, off the A19 near Shipton by Beningbrough, is expected to be open as normal from Monday.
