THREE fire engines were called out after reports of a loud bang and a roaring noise at a house in York.
Appliances from Acomb, York and Huntington were called to a house in Bishopthorpe Road area of the city at 7.22pm yesterday.
However, on arrival they discovered that it was nothing more than a mirror that had fallen off a bathroom wall onto taps.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Nothing more than a potential seven years bad luck was the result."
