SEVERAL headliners were announced this morning for next year's Leeds Festival.

The 1975 will be making their Main Stage debut next year as one of four headline acts announced for the festival which will take place next August Bank Holiday at Braham Park.

The Brit Award winners will be joined by the American rock band The Foo Fighters, who first headlined back in 2002, as well as Grammy Award Winners Twenty One Pilots and Post Malone.

The Texan-born popstar performed at the festival for the first time last year, drawing in huge crowds, which has led to his sudden rise to the Main Stage.

Other notable acts announced include Pale Waves, Blossoms and Bastille, who are returning for a third time.

There will also be sets from DJ Denis Sulta, electronic duo CamelPhat, Boston based rock trio Pvris and Billie Eilish whose debut single, Ocean Eyes, had over 132 million streams on Spotify this year.
