FIREFIGHTERS freed a motorist who was trapped in his car after it crashed into a hedge on the A64 at Potter Brompton, between Malton and Scarborough.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said the man was taken to hospital for a check-up after the crash at 10.40am today.
Meanwhile, crews from Tadcaster used lines and strops to help a farmer rescue a sheep which had become stuck down a three-metre bank.
