POLICE are appealing for information in relation to a hate crime that happened last month onboard a train between Leeds and York.
At about 11.30pm on 27 October, a man was on board a Trans Pennine Express service where he began making racially offensive comments.
British Transport Police said: "We were alerted via text messages and police attended York station where the train service was met."
Officers are today appealing for fresh witnesses to this incident to get in touch.
