Police need to find the next-of-kin of a Selby man found dead in a house in the town.
Neither North Yorkshire Police nor the Selby coroner's office have been able to locate Darren James' relatives despite searching for more than a week.
He was found dead in a house on New Millgate, Selby, in the morning of Monday November 12 and sometimes used the nickname "Bottoms".
An inquest will be held into his death at a date to be decided. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
Anyone related to Mr James, or who can help the authorities trace him should contact the coroner's officer on 01609 643168.
