A LORRY and a van were involved in a crash on a busy road near York this morning.
It happened on the A19 at Shipton.
The collision was reported to North Yorkshire Police at around 9.15am. The force said it was a “minor collision.” It added that traffic disruption was kept to a minimum. The vehicles were recovered and the scene was clear by 11.15am, the force said.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire fire service said it involved an Iveco truck and a Vauxhall van.
