Visitors to Westonbirt arboretum can expect to be truly enchanted this December, as the stunning popular destination is transformed into a winter wonderland

The popular annual Enchanted Christmas returns in just a few weeks and will fill the spectacular arboretum with festive cheer.

This year’s dazzling attraction will see the introduction of a new route of spectacular illuminations, twinkling lights, sparkle and colour as visitors weave their way along the woodland trail.

An exciting new attraction is being launched for 2018 - The Wishing Tree – children will be able to write their Christmas wishes, and then post them in one of our magical postboxes, so they can be hung on our Wishing Tree.

Keep an eye out on the trail for the ever popular giant mirror ball, the brilliant bubble area and immersive sound and light experience, The Singing Tree.

A hugely popular event for families across the region and beyond, advanced booking is essential as tickets will not be available on the day.

Visitors will be able to spot Father Christmas around the beautiful Christmas Village as he greets children and hands out small gifts with his customary seasonal cheer.

With exciting interactive features all along the trail, Enchanted Christmas takes place around weekends from December 1, until December 23, and is pushchair and wheelchair friendly.

Paul Cody, head of visitor attraction, Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, Forestry Commission said the event has to be seen to be believed.

“The way that the National Arboretum is transformed into Enchanted Christmas every year has to be seen to be believed.

"It's great to see the look of wonder on the children’s faces - as well as many of the adults – is a thing to behold and we’re excited to welcome visitors young and old once again this year.”

Tickets are currently available for each weekend starting from December 1 and are on sale now.
