PUPILS have been enjoying a new playground at their primary.
Bishop Wilton Primary School’s playground has reopened after undergoing a £10,000 revamp.
It features two play areas, one for the Early Years and Key Stage one children and another for Key Stage two pupils, which can also be used by Key Stage one children.
The area for younger children includes a mud kitchen and a seating area, while the other has climbing ropes, a balance beam and a stage. Both areas have artificial grass.
Three generations of one family were invited to open the playground. Sue Gray and daughter Laura are former pupils. Laura’s children Archie and Thomas Atha now attend the school.
