DEVELOPERS say work is now well under way in a project to turn a former York council care home into 29 apartments,which will give first-time buyers an opportunity to get a foothold on the property ladder.
Caedmon Homes says the conversion project at Grove House in Penley's Grove Street, The Groves, where prices will start at £120,000, includes demolition of a section of the existing building and removal of the roof.
