IN COLLABORATION WITH BETWAY
SNOOKER’S Betway UK Championship is set to be staged in York for the eighth consecutive year.
The tournament will run from November 27 to December 9 at the York Barbican, with 128 players battling for glory.
Dating back to 1977, the UK Championship is one of snooker’s most historic and prestigious tournaments. It is considered the second-biggest ranking event, after the World Championship, and those two tournaments make up snooker’s Triple Crown, along with the Masters.
Since 2011, it has been staged at the York Barbican, and attracts huge crowds throughout. In 2017, Ronnie O’Sullivan won the title for the sixth time by beating Shaun Murphy 10-5 in the final.
