Mail delivery target beaten
ROYAL Mail says it has exceeded its regulatory First Class mail delivery target in the YO postcode area.
A spokesman said it delivered 94.8 per cent of First Class post the next working day in the first half of the 2018-19 financial year, beating the 93 per cent target.
Delivery director Steve Selby said: "I’m very proud of our postmen and women who work very hard in all weathers to deliver to these challenging targets."
