A MAN who was trapped in a van after a crash in a Yorkshire Wolds village has been freed by firefighters.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said the Transit van collided with a car at 8.30am today in Main Street, Garton On The Wolds, near Driffield.
A spokeswoman said crews used hydraulic cutting gear to remove a van door and release the man, who was handed into the care of paramedics, while the incident was left with police.
Another trapped man was freed from a car after a two-vehicle crash at 2.30pm in Caistor Road, Laceby, by crews who removed the roof.
