SERVICES of remembrance were held at York's City Memorial Gardens and at York Minster this morning.
Thousands of people lined the streets for the annual Remembrance parade through York, which started at Clifford's Tower, and for a procession from York Minster, with both assembling at the City Memorial Gardens, where the Service of Remembrance was held.
A special service of thanksgiving and commemoration took place at the Minster before the procession.
Here are a selection of pictures from the events by photographer Frank Dwyer.
