WE are rightly remembering the sacrifice that was made over 100 years ago to ensure we could live in a free, peaceful and just society.

I remember vividly the violence that happened in UK and in Ireland in the years before the Good Friday Agreement, which was only signed 20 years ago.

This fragile peace in now under threat from hardline Brexiteers, who do not seem to understand the possible dreadful consequences of a hard border.

Surely this peace is too precious to risk.
