THE man who made the name Yorkshire synonymous with top-class cycling across the world will reveal the secrets of his success on Wednesday.

Sir Gary Verity brought the 2014 Tour de France, the annual Tour de Yorkshire, and the 2019 cycling world championships to the county.

In “the Business of Selling Yorkshire” the chief executive officer of Welcome to Yorkshire will be interviewed by John Hammond Booth, governor of York St John and former BBC presenter.

A capacity crowd is expected for the event at York Business School, which will also feature an introduction by Professor Christopher Moore, deputy vice chancellor for advancement at York St John.

Dean of the York Business School, Dr Bob Gammie said “We are delighted that Sir Gary Verity is coming to York Business School to share some of the secrets of his great successes.
