Police warning
CAR owners are being warned after a spate of thefts from vehicles in the past week.
Three thefts from vehicles have been reported in Station Road, The Rubbings, Selby and Old Farm Way, Brayton.
A police spokesman said: “The offender on each occasion used an unknown object to smash the window and items have been removed from within."
Police are urging owners to remove any items of value when they leave their car.
