A ROAD in Haxby is closed today while water works take place
Holly Tree Lane is shut between 8am and 8pm while Yorkshire Water carries out the works.
There are several bus diversions in place.
Coastliner says its number 20 service will be unable to serve Eastfield Avenue, Oak Tree Lane and Holly Tree Lane in Haxby both directions due to roadworks. Buses will be diverting down York Road.
First York says its number 1 service will be diverting as follows:
From Wigginton towards York.
Normal route to Haxby Memorial Hall, then around the roundabout, back along The Village and via Westfield Road and Greenshaw Drive to Oak Tree Lane, then as normal route.
From York towards Wigginton.
Normal route to end of Oak Tree Lane, then Greenshaw Drive, Westfield Road, left onto normal route. Customers wishing to travel to Haxby shops should stay on the vehicle to Wigginton, after which the service will continue to Haxby Shops on its York bound journey.
