REIGHTON Sands has won a national Keep Britain Tidy competition for a 'big beach clean-up'.
The beach, near Filey, was one of the top beaches, voted for by the public, in the poll, supported by Fairy, Head & Shoulders and Tesco.
In 2017, for every 100 miles of UK beaches, there was an average of 138 pieces of litter found.
The clean-up takes place on Tuesday from 11am to 3pm. If you want to take part, search for events in Scarborough on eventbrite.com
