YORK residents are invited to a charity quiz and curry night at Jaipur Spice this Thursday.
The event, on Haxby Road, is being organised by York Round Table, A social and fundraising group in the city, with all proceeds going to York Special Care Baby Unit.
The Special Care unit in York gives parenteral nutrition and ventilation to babies needing care.
Vice Chairman of York Round Table, Charlie Lancaster, said: "Having supported York Hospital in the past and seeing some of the fantastic work they do, we wanted to donate further funds to the Special Care Baby unit, where we will be donating all profits from this event.
"There are only a few days left to grab a ticket and we have almost reached capacity.
"I would like to thank the owners of Jaipur Spice for their generous support in making this event possible."
