A TEENAGER has been filmed pulling into a McDonald’s drive-thru in York in a JCB.
Driver Sam Wake, 18, made a quick pit stop at around 8pm on the way back to the yard after a long day of muck spreading.
He was served without any issue as the vehicle was within restrictions and roadworthy, said a McDonald's spokesperson.
Sam ordered a £1.20 coca cola a McDonald’s in York Clifton Moor and casually went on his way.
Pal Rob Campey, 18, a self-employed contractor, filmed the moment of Sam ordering a drink while driving his uncle’s JCB.
He said: “Myself, Sam and Jonny Dearing were coming back from a day's muck spreading and we decided to go for a McDonald’s on the way home due to it being a long trek!
“I was driving the JCB but Sam wanted to go round the drive-thru so took the keys and did it.
“He ordered a drink and the McDonald’s staff loved it."
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “As the vehicle was within restrictions and roadworthy, the driver was served without issue.
“It was probably the easiest thing they picked up all day.”
