I WOULD like to find out where all the drinking fountains have gone from York Hospital.

The hospital is a place where it’s always warm and people get thirsty so need a drink: a basic need that should be catered for in such places.

I heard that someone asked about getting a drink of water and was directed to a shop to buy a bottle of water. Is this a ploy to rake more money? If you wanted a different kind of drink fine, but for a hospital not to have free drinking water is a disgrace.

Some staff are brilliant and will go to get you a drink if you ask but surely they have better things to do?
