Fire to conifers in Selby 'started by youths'
A FIRE involving 15 conifers in Selby was allegedly started by youths.
Firefighters were called to the incident on Parkin Avenue at about 5.05pm yesterday (October 22).
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was "started by youths with matches."
The fire was put out using a hose reel.
