AN East Yorkshire primary school has raised about £200 for charity after holding its annual Big Coffee Afternoon.
Bishop Wilton CE Primary School hosted the event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. People could enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake at the fundraiser, which was attended by Lady Halifax.
As part of the event, the school council organised cake competitions for pupils.
Meanwhile, pupils at the school have celebrated St Edith's Day again this year in the village church named after St Edith.
A service was held, and pupils took part in readings about St Edith.
