YORK schoolchildren joined 200,000 people across the UK to learn a valuable lesson that could help them save a life.
Pupils from Huntington School took part in Restart a Heart Day on Tuesday, an annual campaign organised jointly by British Heart Foundation (BHF), the Resuscitation Council, St John Ambulance, the British Red Cross, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and fire and rescue services across the country.
Huntington was one of 33 North Yorks schools taking part. Teacher Natalie Elliott said: “I am immensely proud that 228 of our students completed the CPR training."
