A YORK charity is hosting an auction to raise much-needed funds.
Activ8, based in Rawcliffe, helps people suffering from loneliness and isolation by providing clubs and access to training courses.
It is currently in need of a minibus, which would enable it to take people to its clubs across the region.
The auction will take place at the Everyman Cinema, Blossom Street, on Thursday, November 8 from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £10.
Among the items up for grabs are a mountain bike, theatre tickets and a family pass to Castle Howard.
