FILM crews are working in York city centre again today.

The production, thought to be ITV's Victoria, has set up at Fairfax House, with huge lights positioned outside the building, and various production tents and staff in the area throughout the day.

Extras in period costume were also seen in and around Tower Street, with a horsebox and prop carriage parked outside the Hilton.

Although nobody confirmed the exact nature of the production, signs around the city which directed workers to the location were marked QV - just as on previous occasions when Victoria has visited the city.

Victoria - which stars Jenna Coleman - has previously filmed extensively in the city in recent months, and the production is largely based at Church Fenton Studios, the former airfield just outside York.
