A SELBY Firefighter, Nick Potts, cycled 485 miles to help raise funds for York Against Cancer.
His ride, which took 20 hours, was on a stationary bike at an event at the Serendipity Gym in Selby.
The weekend-long event was organised by gym owner Sarah Tremble, with a class-a-thon notching up 70,000 minutes of rowing by members.
The event, in September, raised £2,300 and in three years the gym has raised £5,600 for the charity.
