YORK Guildhall Orchestra welcomes the return of guest piano soloist Martin Roscoe for Saturday's 7.30pm concert at York Barbican.
Recognised as one of Britain's foremost interpreters of Beethoven, Roscoe will perform his Piano Concerto No 3 in C minor in a programme topped and tailed by Brahms, firstly his turbulent Tragic Overture and lastly his Symphony No 4 in E minor with the much-loved Passacaglia final movement.
The conductor, as usual, will be Simon Wright. Tickets are on sale on 0844 854 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office.
