A DRIVER was injured and taken to hospital after a crash in Tadcaster last night (October 9).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to a single vehicle collision on the A659 at 8.15pm.
Police officers and paramedics also attended.
The fire service said firefighters gave emergency care to a man who had abrasions on his wrist.
North Yorkshire Police added that the male driver was taken to Harrogate District Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said it sent one ambulance to the scene and took a patient to Harrogate District Hospital.
