FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man who had become trapped in a potato harvesting machine.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the field in Stillingfleet Lane, Escrick, at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman said crews from York, Huntington and Tadcaster were sent to the scene, along with Tadcaster’s Incident Support Unit.
The spokesman said crews freed the man from the machine, and left him in the care of the ambulance service.
