A VAN crashed into two parked cars on a road in York last night.
Police were called to the collision on Fulford Road, near the junction with Heslington Lane, at about 9.35pm.
Fire crews from York and Acomb, as well as an Incident Support Unit from Tadcaster, also attended, along with paramedics.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the driver suffered a minor wrist injury.
"As the van contained gas cylinders, police officers moved members of the public away from the scene, and closed the road as a precaution," the spokesman added.
"Thanks to the efforts of the Fire and Rescue Service, the scene was made safe, and the road reopened at about 11.15pm."
