A PEDESTRIAN has suffered serious injuries after a car crash.
Police are appealing for information after a car hit a 52-year-old man last night, Sunday, at about 10.30pm on Princess Street in Scarborough.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the driver of the small, blue old-style car did not stop at the scene and was spotted driving to St Sepulchre Street.
The pedestrian was taken to Scarborough Hospital with a fractured right ankle and facial injuries.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage should call police on 101 and ask for Mark Patterson, quoting reference number 12180187781.
