A CYCLIST was knocked off his bike in an alleged hit-and-run crash with a car.
The collision happened on Friday on Brett Street in Bridlington at around 10.30pm.
Humberside Police said the man on the bike had stopped at traffic lights near Quay Road when a small blue car collided with him from behind causing him to fall off.
The rider sustained bruising but was otherwise unhurt, the force added.
It said the car failed to stop, and instead performed a U-turn before driving off in the direction of Gypsey Road
The force is appealing for anyone who saw this car to get in touch.
