AS more than 11,000 people prepare to run in the Yorkshire Marathon this weekend, we have compiled some of our best pictures of the event.
These photos were taken at the last three marathons and at various points along the route which snakes from the University of York’s Heslington campus into the city centre the city centre and on to Stockton on the Forest, Grange Wood, Upper Helmsley, Stamford Bridge, Gate Helmsley, Turkers Wood, Murton and Osbaldwick.
