A CAR has crashed into the side of a hotel in York.
An eyewitness at the scene said the vehicle has driven into the DoubleTree by Hilton on St Maurice’s Road and a window has "crumpled".
Police said the woman who was driving the car has been taken to York Hospital with suspected chest pains.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the scene of a three vehicle crash.
One lane of the road was blocked and the footpath was closed, but police say the road has now reopened and thanked the public for their patience.
The road is now open and traffic is flowing freely. Thank you for your patience.
