NORTH Yorkshire superstar chef James Martin returns to York Barbican tomorrow to cook and chat in On The Road...Again, his follow-up to his 2016 debut tour, Plates, Mates And Automobiles.
Martin, 46, who was born in Malton, brings the experiences of his television shows, French Adventure, American Adventure and Saturday Morning With James Martin, to this new live show.
He promises to "dazzle the audience with his skill, speed and dexterity and of course his usual unabashed humour in an entertaining, fast-moving, immersive show, jam packed with James’s signature cooking demonstrations and full of exciting twists".
Although food is at the heart of the 7.30pm show, Martin will be joined by special guests (as yet unnamed) and big surprises are in store too. Having learned to play guitar for his last tour, who knows what he will pull out of the frying pan this time?
