THE Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, concluded his marathon tour of all 21 deaneries in the Diocese of York ahead of a three day festival at York Minster this weekend.
The Minster’s Mission Weekend event, which runs until Sunday, will be celebrated with a range of activities including a harvest service, supper and Ceilidh.
Tonight BBC journalist Huw Edwards will host an audience with the Archbishop and his wife Margaret, which will include music, poetry, readings and conversation.
And on Sunday the Mission Weekend will conclude with a choral service at 4pm which will include prayers for the Minster’s three charities York Neighbours, national charity Home Start and international charity Embrace the Middle East.
