THE final, sold-out show by Leeds synth-pop pioneers Soft Cell will be broadcast live to City Screen and the Everyman in York from London on Sunday night.

Tickets are still available at both York cinemas for the 7.30pm satellite screening from The O2 Arena, marking Dave Ball and Marc Almond's 40th anniversary in their first concert for 15 years.

Presented by More2Screen, in a Live Here Now production in partnership with Toward Infinity, the farewell show will be broadcast in 5.1 surround sound audio and filmed in full HD with a 13 camera set-up, directed by Tim Sidwell.

One of the most influential groups to emerge from the Eighties' electronic music scene, Soft Cell released five albums of original material, book-ended by their debut, 1981’s Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret and 2002’s Cruelty Without Beauty.
