YORK City Knights are the Betfred League One champions.
James Ford's team beat Whitehaven 32-14 at a bouncing Bootham Crescent to seal the crown on the last day of the regular season.
They finished two points above Bradford Bulls, the odds-on title favourites.
Former York Acorn amateur Matt Chilton scored two tries, with the other touchdowns coming from Sam Scott and Aussie Joel Edwards.
Connor Robinson booted six penalties to go with his two conversions - and in doing so set new all-time York RL points and goals in a season records.
