TICKETS go on sale this week for York Minster's 2018 Christmas Carol Concerts.
Previously, almost half of the available tickets sold out on the first day they were available, and tickets for this year's concerts - on Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14 - go on sale from 10am on Tuesday, September 25.
Robert Sharpe, director of music at the Minster, said: "This year’s concerts will feature celebrity readers performing seasonal poetry and readings, as well as classical and traditional Christmas music sung by the full York Minster Choir and the Yorkshire Volunteers Band leading the audience in Christmas carols."
Tickets cost from £15 and are available on the Minster's website - yorkminster.org - or by phoning the box office on 01904 557256.
