THE jury has retired to consider its verdicts in the trial of a father accused of giving his baby brain and rib injuries.
So far the 12 men and women have been in retirement at York Crown Court for just over three hours.
They have to decide if the father, 31, of York, committed two offences of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, which he denies.
They will continue considering their verdicts on Monday. The trial started last Tuesday.
