A FAMILY day and roadshow on York’s flood defences will be held next weekend.
The York Flood Roadshow will take place in Rowntrees Park on Saturday, September 29, between 10am and 2pm.
A spokesman said the event would be a “family friendly informative day with interactive model flume and flood defence products on display”.
Representatives from the Environment Agency, City of York Council, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Flood Re - which helps residents at risk of flooding gain insurance - will be on site.
