PUNK legends The Lurkers are to play The Victoria Vaults, in Nunnery Lane, York, on September 29.

To mark the occasion, Vinyl Eddie, from Vinyl Eddie's independent record shop in Tadcaster Road, has kindly donated a copy of the limited-edition 40th Anniversary Record Store Day release of The Lurkers' classic 1978 debut album, Fulham Fallout, on orange vinyl no less, to be won.

The winner also will receive two tickets for next Saturday's gig by The Lurkers, the long-lasting punk band from Uxbridge, West London, who were the first group ever to sign to the Beggars Banquet label, for whom they released two albums.

Over the next couple of months, The Victoria Vaults has lined up gigs by The Chords, 999, Oasis Maybe, The Killermeters, Small Fakers and Stereosonics, as well as the return of The UK Subs. Tickets are on sale via victoriavaults.com.
