THIS year's York Food and Drink Festival gets under way tomorrow in the city centre.
The annual celebration promises an array of mouth-watering treats for foodies, and runs from tomorrow, Friday, September 21 to September 30.
Access to demonstrations and the festival’s markets in Parliament Street and Shambles is free.
In addition to the main markets, the Food Hub, in St Sampson’s Square, will provide an outlet for smaller producers during both weekends of the festival’s run.
Here The Press has taken a trawl through our archives to find some food festival highlights from over the years.
