Snippets of Strensall Oral History
A BOOKLET has been produced containing stories of Strensall life in the past.
Over the last few years, Strensall Local History Group member Shirley Jenkins and her team have recorded conversations from people about village life, the war years, work, their school days and other memories of Strensall while living in the village.
Some of these recollections have been used to form a booklet, entitled ‘Snippets of Strensall Oral History’.
Copies of the booklet will be available to buy for £4 at the group's next meeting on September 26th at 7.15pm in Strensall village hall.
