HEAD TEACHERS in York have been informed about a new campaign to help keep children in the city and across the UK safe online.
York’s Ultra Fibre Optic from TalkTalk and Internet Matters have set up a Back to School campaign with the support of Cllr Keith Myers, executive member for education at City of York Council.
At a Director’s Briefing for head teachers on Tuesday, more than 50 heads from across York were given advice on school improvement, wellbeing and safety as part of the campaign.
The event presented the opportunity to discuss the breadth of advice Internet Matters offers parents on how to keep children safe online as they return to school. Internet Matters has recently launched a new set of guides to help parents.
